Jai continued to attend his new school, but he felt lonely. He missed his old friends and the familiarity of his old school. He tried to make conversation with other students, but they seemed uninterested in getting to know him.
One day, Jai was sitting alone during lunchtime when a boy approached him. The boy had curly hair and a friendly smile. "Hey, do you mind if I sit here?" he asked.
Jai was surprised but nodded his head. The boy introduced himself as Arjun and they began to chat. Jai found out that Arjun was new to the school too and was also feeling lonely.
They talked about their interests and hobbies, and Jai felt he had finally found someone he could relate to. They made plans to hang out after school and play video games together.
As the days went on, Jai and Arjun became inseparable. They sat in class, ate lunch, and even joined the same after-school club. Jai felt grateful for Arjun's friendship and no longer dreaded going to school.
However, Jai still couldn't shake off the feeling of sadness that lingered inside him. He missed his old life and felt like he didn't fit in at his new school. He tried to push these thoughts aside and focus on the present, but it wasn't easy.
One day, Jai opened up to Arjun about how he was feeling. Arjun listened attentively and then said, "You know, I felt the same way when I first got here. But then I met you and everything changed. Maybe other kids feel like us and need a friend too."
Jai nodded thoughtfully. He realized that he wasn't alone in his feelings and that he and Arjun could make a difference in someone else's life. They decided to start a kindness club at school, where they would do small acts of kindness for their classmates.
Jai felt a sense of purpose and happiness that he hadn't felt in a long time. He was grateful for Arjun's friendship and for the new opportunities that their school had brought him.
